We’ve never been ones to follow fashion when it comes to haircuts. Every six weeks for over three decades we’ve been saying “just a trim please” with a regularity that would make a hipster choke on his latte.
But we still have a little sympathy for 13-year-old lad Lewis Kenny, who was placed in isolation at his school because of his “extreme” haircut. Seriously, how extreme can a haircut actually be? Has it joined Islamic State?
Actually it’s just a copy of the haircuts sported by Sergio Aguero and Gareth Bale. How radical.
“What I want is an acknowledgement that they are wrong,” said father Lewis Kenny. “It’s a modern haircut for a boy his age to have.”
Considering the amount of kids with mullets and rattails we’ve seen since we moved to Australia, we’re inclined to agree.
