Sometimes, husbands and boyfriends can feel a bit neglected when their woman gives birth and the duties of motherhood take precedence over keeping their man happy.
That’s how frustrated New Yorker Paul Marquez felt until he came up with a novel way to make sure his lady gave him the attention he deserved – by trying to sell the baby online.
Marquez has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment after he allegedly offered his partner’s child on Craigslist for $100.
Authorities say Marquez, 22, was angry with his missus so he posted the adverts with photos of her daughter on the Craigslist website.
The mother notified police after she received a phone call from a person offering to buy the baby.
“The reason I decided to put this post was because I got bored and wanted to get a little laugh and a little kick out of it,” Marquez told police.
It’s not clear if the $100 included postage and packaging.
