Mummified CatWhilst renovating their house, a British couple have discovered a mummified cat.

However, rather than being freaked out and scared of disease, owner of the property Mrs Bruce has embraced the not-so-furry feline believing it could bring them good luck.

According to the owners of the property the house had always had “a lovely feel to it” which is why they insist on keeping the mummified animal in order to preserve the house’s natural balance. They also believe the cat could have been placed in the house to ward off evil spirits.

The cat, which is purr-fectly preserved with many features still visible, is thought to have been there since the Victorian period and by the looks of it will remain there for many, many years to come.
