The public of Jilin, China were left gobsmacked after a banned sex film was screened over the town square– because a technician was watching it on his laptop.
Not realising that his evening’s entertainment was plugged into the LED screen he was supposed to be fixing, the technician, identified as Yuan Mou, broadcast the film for a whole ten minutes. When he realised his error, he threw the disk out of the window in the hope of erasing all evidence.
The film in question is a Hong Kong remake of Xin Jin Ping Mei, or in English, The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks.
You really couldn’t make it up.
