The Dalai Lama met his Madame Tussauds wax double during the second day of his visit to Sydney. It’s not the only Dalai Lama wax model, six other figures can be found all over the world at various Madame Tussauds attractions.
His Holiness, nearing 78 years old, is underway on his 10-day visit to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Darwin. When he met his wax figure he said: “The only difference is this (pointing to himself) can speak, and this (pointing to the wax figure) cannot.
