Liu Lingchao, 38, is a real-life human snail who carries his make-shift house on his back wherever he goes.
Made of bamboo poles, plastic sheets and bags, it provides shelter on his travels through China.
The Snail Man lost his job in Shenzhen, China, and is now walking to his hometown in Rong’an, Guangxi.
“I can go anywhere I want to go. It’s an easy decision when I want to move on,” he said.
His portable house weighs more than 9st and is 5ft by 6ft 6in. The Snail Man will complete the 270-mile walk when he arrives safely at his hometown.
