In a move so nerdy it’s almost cool, someone has sent a replica Indiana Jones journal to baffled officials at the University of Chicago and addressed it to ‘Henry Walton Jones Jr’, the character’s real name.
Representatives from Lucasfilm denied they were involved in sending the journal, and Harrison Ford isn’t senile enough yet to think he actually is Indy.
Consequently, no one has a bloody clue who sent it or why, although Grace Chapin, admissions counsellor at the school, suggested the strange piece of mail could be part of an ‘alternate reality’ game, in which participants left clues for other players.
Frankly, after coming up with such an oddball solution to the riddle, we think someone should check Grace about her DVD collection, or at least see if she has a restraining order banning her from going within 100 metres of Skywalker Ranch.
