Watch out for skid marks on the track. Jolene Van Vugt has claimed the new land speed record for toilets on wheels.
After a few minor technical difficulties (something stuck in the u-bend perhaps?) she hit 46mph on the loo. After a dodgy curry we know how she feels.
The 31 year old Canadian beat the previous Guinnes World Record by 4mph on her motorised lavatory at the Nitro Circus Stunt Show in Sydney Australia.
She said: ‘I came out here to jump straight on the toilet. That was so fun – and I’m stoked to get the record.’
Van Vugt got her first motorbike aged 11 and took up motocross three years later eventually becoming the first Canadian women’s champion. She holds a few other world records, including being the first woman to backflip a dirt bike.
As long as she doesn’t try to backflip a full toilet everything should be all right.
