Jefferson

Adam, David, Pete and Ben have been walking to the Fifa World Cup and managed to make friends with a stray dog. They named him Jefferson and somehow he has become a famous wonder with the world.
After weeks of padding along and following the guys Jefferson has finally been reunited with his real daddy, Nacho. After their arrival to the Estadio Beira-Rio, they had to say their farewell to Jefferson and we can only imagine how hard that must have been. Good news is that they got to sit in the very changing rooms that Lionel Messi will be occupying very soon.
Jefferson became one of them, (especially with his own England T), and we’re sure the separation must have been hard. After all, a dog is a man’s best friend.

Final Day

The guys have achieved what they set out to do and they finished their epic journey on the pitch of the Estadios Beira-Rio. They’ve walked 1966km on foot, gaining an experience to last them a lifetime, and are still raising money for the J de V Arts Care Trust in order to build a water well in Bahia. Even though their walk has finished it doesn’t mean they have. They will continue to grow awareness about the drought and water well until they’ve reached their target of £20,000.
Help them build the water well in Bahia by donating to www.justgiving.com/walktotheworldcup-jdev or if you’re in the UK please text WTWC66 and the amount to 70070.
