ufc165Strap on your gloves and get ready for a superb weekend of mixed martial arts as the UFC165 comes to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. With a host of exciting match ups, it promises to be a bruising encounter you will not want to miss. The headline fight sees light heavyweight champion Jon Jones of America face Swedish beast Alexander Gustafsson. Jones is hoping to break the division record of most title defences, which he currently shares at five with legend Rito Ortiz.

The next big fight for fans to enjoy will be the Interim Bantamweight title bout, which was originally scheduled for June. Brazilian Renan Barao, currently on an amazing 31 match undefeated streak, will hope to keep that running against his opponent Eddie Wineland, who is also in good form, winning his last two fights to justify his title shot.

In the other matches, Canadian born Mark Bocek was in the original line up but he was replaced by new on the scene Jesse Ronson after getting injured. Ronson will now face Michael Prazeres.

Japanese fighter Norifumi Yamamoto was also removed from the competition so Ivan Menjivar will now face Wilson Reis instead.

This promises to be an exciting weekend of action with no holds barred adrenaline-fueled fighting, something you wouldn’t want to miss! You can watch the weigh-in on Friday the 20th at 4pm/1pm ET/PT and the post fight press conference on Saturday with the live action following on from it.
