Thieves_apologiseTwo thieves reportedly said “sorry” to bank employees in Italy during a robbery.
The apologetic pair made off with around 10,000 Euros (£8,300) after breaking into a branch in Sardinia, where they were believed to have told staff: “Sorry for the inconvenience.”
According to the ANSA news agency, the two men – who police think were carrying a fake weapon – also hit out at the country’s economic crisis.
They managed to escape after locking up people visiting the bank in a room.
