Fenerbahce have been withdrawn from the Champions League by the Turkish Football Federation due to an ongoing match-fixing-investigation. Trabzonspor, who finished second in last season’s Turkish league, have replaced them despite already being knocked out of the competition. Atletico Bilbao, who were meant to face Trabzonspor in the Europa Cup, get a cheeky pass into the next round instead of having to face another Turkish team (which would have been fairer really).
