Slapping a pair of Speedos on Stephen Hawking and wheeling him off the end of a dive board would guarantee a score of some sort and a few laughs! Fishing him out from the bottom of the pool would be a problem because we’d imagine “layabout” Hawking doesn’t get the chance to stretch his legs much these days.
So, when we heard that 17-year-old Philippine professional diver, JD Pahoyo, was awarded a 0.0 during his three-meter individual springboard competition, questions had to be asked. This waster was witnessed fluffing his routine at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.
If you thought that was a one-off, then, like buses, you wait for one bell-end to belly flop his way to the worst score ever and then his buddy comes along to match it! John Elmerson Fabriga, who of course is Pahoyo’s Synchronized Diving Partner, took that role into his individual dive as he landed flat on his back.
That had to have hurt!
