Here’s one for the pretentious art lovers! The London Hayward Gallery is putting on an exhibition of 50 works of invisible art called Invisible: Art about the Unseen 1957 – 2012. It will open on June 12.
Among the displays will be a piece of paper covered in invisible ink and a plinth with nothing on it.
The various works include pieces by big names like Andy Warhol, Yves Klein and Yoko Ono. You know – the type of stuff that makes sense to no one but them and the people who pretend to understand it all.
Entry costs £8 per person, so if you’re wanting to spend an afternoon looking at nothing you can have the added bonus of wasting your money at the same time.
