Oley! It was another night for the Spanish Bull to get mad and rampant as Spain overcome a game of two halves to defeat France 2-0 thanks to two goals from Real Madrid maestro Xabi Alonso.
Alonso scored his first with his head after France’s two right backs (yeap, they fielded two and still lost!) were beaten by Jordi Alba easily and all he had to do is nod it in. His second came from the spot with a well taken effort sending captain and keeper Hugo Lloris the wrong way to send the Spaniards into ANOTHER semi-final.
Everyone must be getting sick of Spain’s reign. We want more rain in Spain not reign! They are just too good, but France has to blame themselves after a lazy first half. A much improved second half could’ve seen an upset on the cards with Franck Ribery looking deadly. But Spain proved their bull has a killer instinct and sunk the French revolution for good.
So onwards against Portugal for Spain, but what next for Les Blues?
