This is what Mr Ronaldo chose to wear on his head today with a more conservative slick style, that’s it for the Cristiano Ronaldo hair watch for today! But in the football we got our first quarter final under way and it was a bunch of one-sided nonsense!
Portugal, as dominant as they were, only beat the Czech’s 1-0 thanks to a rampant Cristiano Ronaldo goal. Ronaldo power headed the ball in 10 minutes from time to give Portugal the lead after a tense display in Warsaw which saw Ronaldo powering shots and headers at Czech Republic keeper Petr Cech all game before finally beating him.
The Czech’s were without inspirational captain Tomas Rosicky, so it was always going to be hard (aka they were never gonna win their playmakers were shite!) but they defended brilliantly up until Cry-babies goal. The only negative for Portugal going into a semi-final against world beaters Spain or France is that striker Helder Postiga picked up a hamstring injury, so bye bye Helder, and maybe, just maybe, we might get to see Ronaldo cry again! Yippee!
