Euro 2012: StormEngland fans are now calling Roy Hodgson God. Next thing you know they will lose to Ukraine and he will be John Prescott! But in reality, it was a fantastic win for England against Sweden with a 3-2 win. They took the lead with big striker Andy Carroll scoring a leaping header in the first half with a half time lead. Then straight after half time, ex Aston Villa defender scored not once, but twice in a few minutes as Sweden took a shock lead. But the comeback from England was superb as Theo Walcott was subbed on and scored a scorcher, before setting up Danny Wellbeck to give England their first win at the Euros.

In the other game in Group D, favourites France had to withstand a thunder and lightning night at Donetsk as they defeated hosts Ukraine 2-0. Jeremy Menez scored midway into the second half with a powerful effort, and the French took a firm hold of the game with a strike from Yohan Cabaye, before missing a dozen chances to make it 10-0 (poor Ukraine, good for England though!)

So England are back on track, and with Shrek to come back in the next game, we could see an ogrefest of a game against Ukraine.
