Euro 2012: HollandIf the Dutch’s campaign is anything to go by, then Robin Van Persie might as well stay at Arsenal because his other team are just as bad! (But I do hope he stays at Arsenal!) The Netherlands were knocked out of Euro 2012 without a SINGLE point after losing 2-1 against a rampant Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal. Germany also progressed and knocked out Denmark with a 2-1 win, so a mirrored result in group B sent Portugal and Germany through

Holland took the lead through Rafael Van Der Vaart, but Portugal hit back with two Cristiano Ronaldo strikes to send the ugly Dutch out embarrassingly, with only themselves to blame. But they can also blame the referee if they want.

It was a tale of another Arsenal striker in the other game in Group B as new Gunners signing Lukas Podolski scored to give Germany an early lead, before Krohn-Delhi scored his second of the tournament. But Sub Lars Bender gave Germany all three points to send them through emphatically.

So the Germans and Portugal are through, sorry Czech Republic and Greece but you might as well pack your bags!
