Britain’s Duchess Catherine has commissioned Bosnian designer Emina Hadzic to make a range of dresses for her.
The 30-year-old royal wants Hadzic – who runs British-based fashion label La Luna London – to create a collection of outfits, which she will wear to some high-profile events.
A Bosnian news website Index.hr, which the brand posted on their Facebook page, reported: “Emina will create a special collection of dresses for Kate.”
Sold through the marketplace of fashion web retailer Asos.com , La Luna London’s pieces range from £220 for a babydoll style dress in chiffon, to £1,150 for a black lace gown slashed to the thigh.
Aimed at a younger clientele, La Luna London has been worn by Hollywood starlets Cameron Diaz and Kim Kardashian.
Catherine – who married Prince William in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown last April – is seen as having a midas touch when it comes to fashion as the majority of clothes she wears sell out within hours.
Earlier this week, she wore a brown knee-length Hobbs coat during a visit to Liverpool, North West England, and it sold out almost as soon as she was seen in it.
