YouTube sensations are like the next X Factor; you always seem to find the next big thing on there now whether it’s a twatty Bieber kid or a gran singing Tinie Tempah (That would be ratings dynamite!). But it was a 7 year old drummer that caught the eye of YouTube viewers this week.
7 year old Jaxon Smith posted a video of himself confidently drumming to Foo Fighters hit ‘The Pretender’ which has gained over 500,000 hits so far and he appeared on the American NBC Show on Tuesday, showcasing his drumming skills to even more people. He apparently had no drum teacher and his parents don’t play the instrument, but he self-taught himself through watching many bands online, so I’m sure drummers from Muse, Foo Fighters and Rush will all take credit if he earns loads of cash.
