It was Croc versus Croc in the salt marshes of Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina.
Yes, you may have seen ‘Mega Shark Versus Crocosaurus’, but visitors got a live showing of what could be a new franchise as a crocodile attempted to tear apart and eat the rubber shoe.
As reported in the Metro, Phil Lanoue captured the scene on camera and said: “I stopped my car and asked a few people what the gator had. When they said it was a shoe, I quickly grabbed my camera to get some shots. When we found out it was a Crocs shoe, everyone thought it was hilarious.
“After a while the gator grew confused and frustrated by the resilient rubber and gave up. It spat out the Croc and eventually left it alone.”
Even if Crocs aren’t your first choice of footwear, it seems that they can last a 30-minute attack from a crocodile. Look out for that on their next ad campaign.
