Good news for Wallabies and England fans ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2015 – one of your biggest rivals looks set for a humiliating group stage exit. The bad news is it’s probably going to be either the Wallabies or England who go out. Sorry if we raised your hopes there.
Yes it’s the Rugby World Cup this September, a competition in which 19 teams slug it out for the honour of losing to the All Blacks in the final. It kicks off on September 18th and all eyes will be on – duh-duh duuuuuurrrrrr – The Group of Death, featuring England, Australia, Wales, Fiji and – wah-waaah – Uruguay. Poor bastards.
That means it’s going to be curtains for at least one of the tournament’s heavy hitters – and we’re not just talking about Sam Burgess. The shindig kicks off with Fiji versus England so get your alarm clocks ready.
