College team the Battle Creek Bombers faced off against the Rochester Honkers at the Bombers’ C.O. Brown Stadium last month as part of the club’s “2nd Amendment Education Night” – in which attendees were welcome to bring guns.
Joel Fulton, co-owner of Freedom Firearms, said the night’s purpose was purely educational, designed to prevent gun accidents and not cause them. He said that many are averse to guns because of “a lack of education and a lack of knowledge” on the subject. He hoped the night would prove instructive to children as well – presumably because he’s a lunatic.
