Snoop Dogg confirmed to headline at AFL Grand Final, September 2025

Snoop Dogg Confirmed to Headline AFL Grand Final Pre-Game Entertainment

American rap legend Snoop Dogg has officially been confirmed as the headline act for this year’s AFL Grand Final pre-game entertainment, set to take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Saturday, 27 September 2025.

This marks Snoop’s debut performance at the MCG—an electrifying addition following shows by icons like Katy Perry and KISS. AFL CEO Andrew Dillon praised the signing as a massive cultural win, saying Snoop’s presence will elevate the Grand Final experience.

Snoop himself weighed in, calling it “an absolute honour” to perform at “one of the biggest events on the Aussie calendar,” and promised to “make it unforgettable”.

The decision also benefited from logistics: Snoop is scheduled to perform in Manila on 25 September, making a quick hop to Melbourne just two days later both convenient and cost-effective

This is sure to be a great AFL Grand Final.
